3D Foundations
Living inside Maya and Blender: scenes, rigs, keyframes, and the graph editor that rules them all.
Performance you can walk around.
Our shows are 3D, and this is the discipline at the centre of them. You'll learn to move a character with weight and intention, act through a rig, and stage it all with a camera — the exact skill our animators use every day, taught by them.
Living inside Maya and Blender: scenes, rigs, keyframes, and the graph editor that rules them all.
Walks, runs, jumps, lifts — weight and balance studied until a character obeys physics on its own.
Pantomime and lip-sync shots: thought, emotion and subtext performed through a character.
Cycles and behaviour for animals and creatures — a staple of kids' content and of our own series.
Framing, blocking and lensing a sequence so the animation is seen the way it deserves.
Shot work on live studio briefs, through the same review rounds our own shots go through.
You leave with a specialised portfolio built on real briefs — and a year of habits from a floor that ships. These are the roles this program prepares you for. Admissions open for the next intake — seats are limited.
Whichever program you choose, the shape of the year is the same — because it is the shape apprenticeship has always had.
Fundamentals, daily. Whatever your program, the first term builds the craft basics everything else stands on — with no prior experience assumed.
Deep in your discipline. Weekly briefs, weekly reviews, rising difficulty — the same feedback loop the studio's own work goes through.
Live briefs from real productions. You finish with a portfolio of work made to shipping standard — not classroom exercises.
